Hi my name is Mia and I have created this blog to upload my progress in my L3 art and design course at Chesterfield College. I am in my second year and I specify within fashion textiles and am taking my current project- ‘rip-off’- down a textile/fine art route. My interpretation of rip-off is literal collage; this involves photography and ‘ripping off’ something from where its meant to be and putting it somewhere completeley random. For example I have taken photos of my sister wearing a plush unicorn head, which belongs on a unicorns body, however I have put it on a humans; this creates an out of place effect. I will be uploading on this site at least once a week, telling you about my progress at college and what I have been creating.
